Here's the first view of the Alaska Pipeline. This is the first of many as we plan to go up the Dalton Hwy.
This rest area is about 50 miles south of Fairbanks. The view is beautiful - as is the norm around here.
North Pole, Alaska - the home of Santa.
We were disappointed to find out that Santa was not home - he also vacations in the summer.
At least we had a few photo opps and got to buy an ornament.
Thanks for sharing your trip. The country is beautiful. Sorry you missed Santa, but I think ya'll's gift is the trip.LOL Randy and I plan on keeping up with you all the way. Good luck and God Bless you the remainder of the trip.
