We finally made it into Alaska!
This is the area known as Destruction Bay.
This is the same lake - just another view point.
The last 100 miles or so getting to Alaska were the hardest! The road was torn up from the frost heaves. We went through lots of rough patches - mud, dirt and gravel. Traveling is hard on everything it seems, even the camera. The black spot you see in the corner is not where we just had our finger in the way every time. Apparently, the lens got jostled. It's ok if you adjust it, but if not, it always has the spot. We'll get that fixed when we get home.
